This complete sharpening stone set is a must have for any kitchen and is a wonderful gift. Happy sharpening!
SUPERIOR QUALITY : Our sharpening stone is highly durable and long lasting. It will prolong the life of your favorite kitchen knives and become a trusted companion in the kitchen.
EASY TO USE: The edge guide and bamboo base make this very easy to use right on the kitchen counter or prep table. The only lubrication required is water. Soak the stone a couple minutes before use and it is ready to go. Dab a little water on it if it dries out.
MULTIPLE USES: The stone can be used to sharpen all your kitchen knives as well as other tools around the house. Restore an edge to a pair of scissors or cutting shears for the garden. The 1000 grit is for establishing the proper cutting edge angle. The 6000 grit will bring the edge to razor sharp. Hone it with newspaper over the stone and you will be amazed.
SAFETY: Sharp knives are safer to use because you will need less force to cut through.
FOOD PREP: A sharp knife makes food prep much quicker and easier since the food will not deflect as it does under a dull knife. Good knife skills start with a sharp knife. The Vistal stone will help you be a better cook.
SAVE MONEY AND TIME: A whetstone is the best option to achieve the best and sharpest edge, finer and better than an electric sharpener, and will save you time and money over sending out to a professional.
EVERYTHING INCLUDED IN SET: a premium water whetstone, a nonslip bamboo base, and an angle guide.
We include instructions, and also welcome any questions regarding our stone or blade sharpening. Please contact us at email@example.com - we want to hear from you!
Our whetstone is double sided to provide two grits enabling one stone to satisfy the basic requirements of sharpening. Our knife sharpening stone can take even the most dull knife and bring it to razor sharpness. The 1000 grit side will restore an edge profile. The 6000 grit side will smooth the edge to produce an excellent cutting knife.
The size is ideal for kitchen knives at approx 7" length with a width of 2.25”. A common length sharpening stone, large enough for ease of use, very portable and fits easily in a drawer.
Fun fact: The word "whetstone" is often mistaken as a reference to the water used to lubricate our stones. However, the term is based on the word "whet", which means to sharpen a blade, not on the word "wet". Therefore, whetstone is actually synonymous with sharpening stone.
